They don't dye i think.

For 50-100g you can dye one yourself and then you'll know how well it takes dye.

You cannot dye that sword, if you try to do it, you can hear the sound when you dye something, but your dye will remain in your inventory,

it sux how so many items in guild wars are undyable. as if anet is too lazy to make them dyable...
